Responsibilities
- Roof Assessments:
- Conduct thorough inspections of roofs on residential and commercial buildings.

- Documentation:
- Create detailed reports outlining inspection findings, including photographs and measurements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results and communicate them effectively to relevant parties.
- Safety Protocols:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during inspections to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Personal Integrity:
- Demonstration of strong work ethics (punctual, dependable, and trustworthy)
- Must be willing to travel to various locations in the US.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 2-4 years’ experience in low slope roofing, construction, or a related field. o Familiarity with various roofing materials, construction methods, and industry best practices.
- Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in using relevant inspection tools and equipment.

Position Summary
The Lab Technician is responsible for performing routine and specialized tests in the laboratory to support research and analysis objectives. This role involves preparing samples, operating laboratory equipment, recording data, and adhering to safety and quality standards. This role also has the authority and responsibility to report to laboratory management on the performance of the management system and any need for improvement
Key Responsibilities
Sample Preparation and Testing
- Prepare and process samples for analysis according to established protocols and procedures.
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests, using standard techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all tests performed and results obtained.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning properly.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment as needed, reporting any issues to the Lab Manager.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment use and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Quality Assurance
- Adhere to quality control procedures and protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Participate in proficiency testing and quality improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory performance.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Data Management
- Record and analyze test data, preparing reports and summaries as required by laboratory management
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Relevant certifications or additional training in laboratory techniques are preferred.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft
Working Conditions
- The Lab Technician will work in a laboratory environment, which may involve exposure to chemicals, biological materials, and other potential hazards.
- The role may require standing for extended periods and handling delicate or hazardous materials with care
Performance Evaluation
Performance will be evaluated based on the accuracy and reliability of test results, adherence to safety and quality standards, and contributions to team goals and laboratory efficiency.
